Maine
Prairie Township was established in 1856.
The township is located in Stearns County in Central Minnesota. It includes the towns of Kimball and Marty (Pearl Lake).
The Maine Prairie Township Board meets on the second Tuesday of each
month at 7:00 p.m. to conduct township business. The first order of business
is the Planning and Zoning Meeting followed by the Board Meeting. If you
wish to be heard, contact the township clerk to have your name added to the
agenda for either of these meetings.
The Board also meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. to
discuss and work toward implementing a 5-year road plan for the Township.
Meetings are open to the public. All meetings are held at the Maine Prairie
Township Hall, 7551 Dellwood Road, Kimball, MN. Cancellation of any meeting
will be published in the Tri-County News, the Township's newspaper of
record.

911 sign notification: Maine Prairie Township has a sign policy. The concern is that many driveways and roadways have more than one residence on it. The township is required to provide the sign at the entrance road. We are asking the residents that live on a Driveway/Road to make your house number very visible to any emergency vehicles that come up your road.
