Meetings
Planning & Zoning meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at
7:00 p.m. to review applications for building permits. Following the
Planning & Zoning meeting, the monthly Township meeting convenes after the
Planning meeting. These meetings are held at the Kimball Area Fire & Rescue
Hall located at 300 Elm Street N in the City of Kimball. Anyone wishing to
have an item placed on the agenda should contact the Township Clerk five
(5) days prior to the monthly meeting.
The Annual Township meeting is held the second Tuesday in March at 8:30 p.m. This is the meeting where the budget is set; road repair issues addressed, taxes, planning ideas, etc. are discussed. In case of inclement weather, the Annual Meeting is held the third Tuesday of March.
The Local Board of Appeal and Equalization is held yearly, for 2010 it will be held on May 5th, at the Kimball Area Fire and Rescue Hall. The official notification is mailed from the Stearns County Assessor's Office in March or April. Notification is also published in the townships official newspaper, the Tri Co News, at least 10 days prior to the meeting date. Appointment times can be made by calling the county assessor noted on the notice.
