Planning & Zoning Meeting
January 12, 2010
Chair Wicker opened the Planning meeting at 7:05 p.m. He called
for any changes or additions to the minutes. Chuck/Supervisor Loewen made a
motion to approve the minutes. Motion carried.
Old business called for:
Township Plat – Supervisor Unterberger explained that the plat papers were
completed before the end of the year. The papers are signed, water
test done, everything cleared up with the Scheeler property, all is recorded
at the county. He stated that it consists of 5.38 acres.
Supervisor Unterberger met with Angie Berg at Environmental Services to
discuss the Whispering Pines Resort with a prospective buyer through a
conference call. The buyer was looking at more of a resort rather than
a camper/RV lot. Some campers and docks are located on a lot owned by
Louis Kunkle’s. It has been a campsite resort since 1991 and campers
lease the sites. There is one cabin and a home on the said property.
The prospective buyer would like to put 4 cabins on where the trailers are
and replace the house. It was an informational meeting, no decisions
were made.
Fines, Fees and Penalties – Clerk Harff was asked to come up with a list of
what the township now permits for to be reviewed at the next meeting.

Permits were presented: Supervisors Loewen/Unterberger made a motion
to accept the permits. Motion carried.
Supervisors Loewen/Unterberger made a motion to adjourn the Planning &
Zoning meeting. Motion carried.
