Terry Jacobson is interested in Powder Ridge Estates Development.  Terry explained he has some buyers for the land but was wondering if the township will be building and maintaining the road.  The road would come off of 93rd Ave.  Discussion was state might require it to be a 10 ton road.  It was explained the township is not obligated to take over the road but it would need to be built to township specs in case it would be extended West to 100th St as it shows on the plat.  Loewen/Kuechle made a motion to require the road to be built to township spec and if the law requires, it should be built to become a 10 ton road.  Wicker voted no, Motion carried.

Fran Meierhofer needed a certificate of compliance.  He wants to add 2 acres onto the .71 acre piece of property that is in his daughter’s name.  In order to do that he needed to give up his feedlot permit.  Supervisors Wicker/Kuechle made a motion to grant the certificate of compliance.  Motion carried.

Karen and Richard Chapman want to add a 10X17’ addition onto their cabin on Carnelian Lake Rd.  They cannot meet the road setback; 63’is required and they can only meet 40’.  They have signed up for a road variance hearing at the June 8th regular board meeting.

Permits were presented:  Clerk Harff was asked to send a letter to Sarah Yozamp because of the siding and window in the attic.  Ron Albers was asked to go out and look at it. Supervisor Wicker/Chuck Froehling made a motion to approve the permits.  Motion carried.
