Planning & Zoning Meeting
February 10, 2009
 
Chair Loewen opened the Planning meeting at 7:03 p.m.   He called for any changes or additions to the minutes.  With none Supervisor Wicker/Chuck Froehling made a motion to approve the minutes as presented.  Motion carried. 
 
Old Business: Dave Lochen will be going before the Stearns Co Planning & Zoning on February 26th, at 6:30 p.m.    
 
Chair Loewen called for new business:  With none Permits were presented. 
 
Brian Becker Variance Hearing
Chair Loewen opened the hearing at 7:15 p.m. with a reading of the hearing notice by Clerk Harff.
Loewen asked for any discussion from the floor, with none, Supervisors Wicker/Unterberger made a motion to close the hearing.  Motion carried.  Board discussion was that Becker has 20 acres; the pole shed with 16’ high sidewalls would not affect any neighboring residents view.  Supervisor Wicker felt the board should review the ordinance and consider changing the MOU.  Supervisors Wicker/Chuck Froehling made a motion to grant the variance with 16’ high sidewalls.  Motion carried.  Supervisors Unterberger/Loewen made a motion to close the hearing.  Motion carried.

Supervisors Wicker/Loewen made a motion to accept the permits presented.  Motion carried
